You'll be prompted to upgrade to the next tier or mark some properties as inactive. Your existing listings remain visible.

Can I get a verified badge on the FREE plan?

Verified badges require an active PRO or BUSINESS subscription + ID verification. This ensures trust and quality for tenants.

How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Simply go to your profile settings in the mobile app and select "Manage Subscription." Changes take effect immediately.

How do I schedule a property viewing?

Browse properties, select one you like, and tap "Book Viewing." Choose your preferred date and time, and the landlord will confirm your booking.

Is Lookal free for tenants?

Yes! 100% free. Browse, chat, book viewings, and save favorites — all at no cost. Only landlords pay for premium features.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept GCash, PayMaya, and major credit/debit cards. All payments are processed securely through the mobile app.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes, cancel anytime with no penalties. Your subscription remains active until the end of your billing period.

How does the verification system work?

Both tenants and landlords can verify their identity through our secure ID verification process. Landlords get verified badges, and tenants must verify before booking viewings.

Do tenants need to verify before booking?

Yes! Tenants must complete both phone and ID verification before requesting property viewings. This protects landlords from no-shows and builds mutual trust.

Why is tenant verification required?

Property viewings require landlords to prepare and be available. Verification ensures serious intent, reduces time-wasting, and builds trust on both sides.

What do I need to verify as a tenant?

Phone verification (SMS code) and ID verification (government-issued ID + selfie). The process takes 2-3 minutes and is reviewed within 1-2 business days.

Is my ID information safe?

Yes. All ID documents are encrypted and automatically deleted 30 days after verification. We comply with Philippines Data Privacy Act (RA 10173).

How does Lookal protect users?

We implement ID verification, no-show protection, and user ratings. All communications are logged for safety, and our support team monitors for suspicious activity.

What is no-show protection?

Landlords on PRO plans can tag no-shows. This helps build a history and protects against unreliable tenants. Tenants can dispute tags if needed.

Can I report inappropriate behavior?

Yes. Use the report function in chat or contact support@lookal.ph directly. We take all reports seriously and investigate promptly.
